The 2023 fall fundraiser brings together our talented hosts\, reporters and staff to connect with listeners and donors. This is a reminder that they are part of WDET\, a community-based public radio station. We need their annual support for a vital WDET future.” \n“WDET is a part of the fabric of Detroit. Donors and listeners guide the news\, music\, arts and culture and conversations we air\,” says Adam Fox\, WDET program director. “WDET serves the community. What we offer is heard nowhere else. For those who value independent\, trustworthy news from NPR and locally-engaged reporters\, or those who enjoy our local activities and events like comedy shows and Essential Cooking events\, or those who listen to our expertly-curated music shows and are informed\, educated and inspired\, we ask them to give.”
