DESCRIPTION:Join WDET on Wednesday\, September 27 at the historic Detroit Film Theatre inside the Detroit Institute of Arts for a special screening of Searching for Sugar Man in honor of the late Sixto Rodriguez\, who passed away at the age of 81 on August 8th. The Oscar-winning documentary film follows two South Africans’ pursuit to find their musical hero — beloved Detroiter Sixto Rodriguez. He was a musician\, songwriter\, singer\, lifelong Detroiter and friend to WDET. \nShow begins promptly at 7PM. \nTickets are $10.50. \nThe Detroit Film Theatre is located at the John R entrance of the DIA. \nAssistive listening devices will be available.
