DESCRIPTION:The Moth StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a true\, personal\, 5-minute story on the night’s theme. Sign up for a chance to tell a story or sit back and enjoy the show! Tonight’s theme is… \nThis month’s theme is “love hurts.” Prepare a five-minute story about a love that made you go “OUCH.” The agony of deferred love\, the misery of good love gone bad or the anguish of one-way love. Bring stories of your heart\, kicked to the curb by the people or places or things you love… or used to love. Love that “hurts so good” is also welcome. \nDoors Open: 6:30 p.m. \nShow Starts: 7:30 p.m. \nTickets for Detroit’s StorySLAMs go on sale 3 weeks prior to the show date at 3 p.m. ET. \nSeating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the show. Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. All sales final.
