Elusive Gray Wolf Documented in Lower Penninsula
It’s just the second time in over 100 years that a Gray Wolf is documented in the Mitten
State wildlife biologists say they’ve confirmed the presence of a Gray Wolf in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. It’s only the second time in over a hundred years that a Gray Wolf has been officially documented south of the bridge. Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Biologist Kevin Swanson tells WDET’s Amy Miller that the evidence came from Emmet County at the top of the mitten.
