Bentivolio Walks to Washington for Veterans
Former Congressman says government, VA are failing vets.
Former Michigan Congressman Kerry Bentivolio is returning to Washington, D.C.—on foot. The Milford Republican is walking and riding his bike to the nation’s capital to call attention to the needs of veterans. WDET’s Pat Batcheller reached Bentivolio, a veteran himself, on his cell phone in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He says vets aren’t getting the health care and other services they need.
