Expert: Winter will be Warm and Wet

Experts say weather patterns will make this year’s winter warmer and wetter than usual.

As we hurtle towards the winter months the warm ocean current known as El Nino is also pushing into the continental U.S.

What will that mean for winter in Metro Detroit? Will it be warmer than usual? Will it be wetter than usual?

WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter talked with a man who is studying the situation – the Canadian-based Weather Network’s meteorologist Doug Gillham.
