MDOT to Work on Rouge River Bridge on I-75
MDOT is planning to begin major repairs on the Rouge River Bridge on I-75 in 2017.
The Michigan Department of Transportation wants to repair the I-75 bridge crossing the Rouge River. The nearly 50-year-old Southwest Detroit span stretches for about a mile and a half, and is the largest bridge in the state by square footage. MDOT spokesperson Diane Cross says the project could take about two years to complete. She spoke with WDET’s Bre’Anna Tinsley.
