MOCAD Offers Youth Scifi, Architecture and Comic Writing Mashup

Scifi Architecture Comics event this Saturday.

Middle and high school students are invited to explore the intersection of science fiction and architecture Saturday at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.

Mike Koftinow is MOCAD’s youth program producer.

“It kinda toggles between architecture, comic writing, environment building and they’ll make a little comic,” Koftinow said.

Scifi Architecture Comics runs from 12:30 to 3:30.

Koftinow said the museum will host another sci-fi writing workshop in June. “Wakanda in Motown” will also include adults.
