Warren C. Evans

Wayne County Executive Warren Evans is fresh off his fourth State of the County speech.

During the address, he outlined some of the exciting things happening in the state’s largest county. But he also didn’t pretend that problems don’t still exist.

The county faces serious financial challenges, and the county’s tax foreclosure practices have continued to cause controversy and grab headlines

Evans joins Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson to discuss these issues. He and Henderson take a look at the state and future of infrastructure in the county, pensions that remain unfunded, and where the county is headed in the future.
