MichMash has been giving you multiple angles of this year’s midterm elections. This week on MichMash, WDET’s Cheyna Roth and Gongwer News Service’s Zach Gorchow and Alethia Kasben give a forecast on how Tuesday’s elections may turn out.
Then our hosts split up to interview Dani James from MLive, Michigan Democratic Chair Curtis Hertel, Michigan Republican Chair Jim Runestad.
According to MLive reporter, Dani James, it’s hard to guess the outcome for Tuesday’s election but there is one thing she is betting on.
“I predict a very long night. I predict we might not get results until the morning. I think it is going to come down to final days and the messaging.”
James said in essence the campaign may have tired voters because of the negative rhetoric the campaigns are hurling at each other.
The Michigan midterms are on Nov. 3, 2026
