Detroit Evening Report: Detroit casinos generated $105.5 million in revenue in February

The Michigan Gaming Control Board revealed that Detroit’s three casinos reported $105.5 million in revenue for the month of February.

Table games and slots made up $105 million, up 1.6% compared to January, while retail sports betting produced $458,752, a whopping increase of 313% compared to the month prior.

MGM Grand had nearly half the market share at 47%, followed by MotorCity Casino at 30% and Hollywood Casino at Greektown with 23%.

The Gaming Control Board says the three casinos paid $12.5 million to the city of Detroit in wagering taxes and development agreement payments from table games and slots in February.
