Artists Frame Stories About Their Art in Wyandotte

Detroit landmarks give Dearborn photographer her muse.

The Wyandotte Street Art Fair celebrates its 55th anniversary this year. For one artist, it’s still a relatively new experience. Debbie Malyn is a photographer and graphic designer. Her portfolio inlcudes pictures of Detroit landmarks–warts and all, in some cases. She tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller the region’s past catches her eye, and inspires her work. The fair runs through June 16 on Biddle Avenue. Click on the audio player to hear the conversation.
