Invest in a new initiative that pushes the boundaries of public radio.
Framed by WDET is a series of exhibits that integrate photojournalism and audio storytelling to tell meaningful stories about metro Detroit’s ethnic and cultural communities.
Over the next two years, you will be able to (re)discover the diversity of Detroit at a series of eight audio-visual exhibits that will travel throughout our region.
From dress shops in Hamtramck to Delray’s neighborhood hardware store, Detroit is full of beautiful stories worth hearing and seeing. Framed by WDET was created by Detroit’s public radio station to present these narratives in a dynamic way for the entire community to experience.
Framed by WDET is supported by individual contributions, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, National Endowment for the Arts, and our series sponsors.
