MSU Gets Another Crack At Duke, Which Beat Spartans In November.

Blue Devils won 1st game by 10 points. Izzo’s team is ready for the rematch.

The Michigan State Spartans are no strangers to the Final Four. This is their 7th trip to the semifinals of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament under head coach Tom Izzo. They’ll play Duke Saturday in Indianapolis. The Blue Devils beat MSU in November, 81-to-71. WDET’s Pat Batcheller asked Detroit News sports writer and columnist John Niyo what Izzo’s team has learned since that game that could help them win the rematch. Whoever wins will play either Kentucky or Wisconsin for the national championship on Monday night.

Niyo writes that MSU finds magic in togetherness. You can read his column here.
