USC Shoah Foundation Looks to Teach About the Dangers of Hate

The USC Shoah Foundation was founded by Steven Spielberg to keep a record of the consequences of hate.

Leaders of the USC Shoah Foundation visited Detroit recently.  The organization uses audio-visual interviews with Holocaust survivors and witnesses to teach young people about the dangers of hate.  Steven Smith is the Executive Director of the Foundation, which was founded by filmmaker Steven Spielberg.  Smith spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn about the reason for his trip to Detroit.
