National Weather Service expects warmer than normal season in Detroit
The last two winters have been among the coldest on record in Detroit. But forecasters are predicting this winter will be warmer than normal. The National Weather Service’s winter outlook is also calling for less snow than usual. Meteorologist Rich Pollman at the NWS office in White Lake tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller what’s considered a “normal” winter and how much warmer he expects this season to be.
