Gasoline Glut Pushes Prices to 2009 Levels

AAA says the average price in Michigan is $1.79 a gallon.

Gasoline prices in Michigan are the lowest they’ve been since early 2009. AAA says drivers are paying an average of $1.79 per gallon. It’s $1.81 in Metro Detroit. Spokesperson Susan Hiltz tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller a glut of gasoline is one of the reasons prices have been falling. Click on the audio player to hear the conversation.
