Cassandra Wilson: A Tribute to Ed Love with Ralphe Armstrong

Celebrating WDET’s own Ed Love, Cassandra Wilson and Ralphe Armstrong present a tribute at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre along the Detroit Riverfront. The Aretha is a  majestic, 6,000-person waterfront venue, recognized as one of the top 100 concert venues in the world.

Ed Love will be honored for his impact in the studio, as mentor and promoter of  musicians far and wide, and his commitment as a cultural torchbearer and multigenerational voice for the tradition of jazz here in Detroit and throughout the world.
