WDET’s purpose is to give our region a thoughtful voice in the national dialogue. Your gift today helps ensure that you will continue receiving balanced, honest conversations on important issues.
Meet Eddie Stewart, 13-year-old Youth Poet
Eddie was part of a group of middle school students we featured in a Inheriting Detroit series called Street Dreams, in which WDET partnered with InsideOut Literary Arts Project, Off/Page Project and the young poets to capture the dreams they have for the streets they walk each day. This series along with Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson and WDET’s Crossing the Lines series cover multiple perspectives about what is happening in our region and invite you into the conversation.
50% of WDET’s budget is made up of listener support. Every gift makes a difference.
