Dally in the Alley @ Cass Corridor | Saturday, September 12 @ 11 AM to 11 PM

Nearing in on 40 years of Cass Corridor cultural celebration, Detroit’s neighborhood block party, Dally in the Alley, presents a magical melange of bands, artists, and vendors that together create a singular vibe one can only experience at this one-day festival of arts and community.

Detroit Gatsby Lawn Party @ Palmer Park | Sunday, September 13 from 11 Am to 5 PM

For one day, Detroit’s Palmer Park will be transformed and transported to the 1920s.  Attendees will dress in flapper-era fashion and enjoy food, cocktails and camaraderie to celebrate the past, present, and future Detroit.  

Folks & Blues DAY @ Lo! and Behold Records & Books | Sunday, September 13 @ 5 PM

A folk and blues day party is going down in Hamtramck to help support the ongoing efforts of mainstay musician, store owner and label head Richie Wholfeil. The man is on a  mission to not only unite people through old-time Americana, bluegrass, gospel, hollers, and deep south blues, but to record those local musicians who carry the tradition of playing it.

Architecture & Nature: Designing  for Today’s Urban Landscape @ Culture Lab Detroit| Friday, September 11 @ 6:30 inside the DIA

Culture Lab Detroit fosters conversations and collaborations between Detroit and the international design community. Through public discussions, exhibitions, public art projects, and creative partnerships, Culture Lab Detroit explores the vital role of culture in the mindful regeneration of the city.
