Detroit City FC Sets Ambitious “Gooooooal!”
The team is preparing its new home in historic Hamtramck location.
The Detroit City Football Club plans to play soccer in Hamtramck this summer. Cass Technical High School has been the team’s home field for the past four seasons, but the club has outgrown the space, and needs more room for its growing fan base. Co-owner Alex Wright tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller Detroit City FC is leasing the historic Keyworth Stadium and raising 750-thousand dollars to renovate it.
