Every year, WDET’s Jon Moshier puts together a spook-tacular Halloween show, with tunes from old Halloween records.

This year Jon has dug deep into the dusty crates to bring you a new round of fun on his show “Modern Music,” which airs on WDET tonight at 8 p.m. His Halloween special will also play throughout the weekend.

Moshier joins Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson to preview this year’s Halloween edition.

“The thing that I fell in love with Halloween wasn’t even the idea of dressing up or getting the candy,” he says, “it was the whole aesthetic of Halloween.”

“So, creating this sort of atmosphere around Halloween is great. And to be able to do that on radio is perfect.”
