Motor City Comic Con Lets Jeannie out of the Bottle
Barbara Eden says it has taken years to come to terms with her title role in the iconic TV series “I Dream of Jeannie.”

Jeannie was ready to come out of the bottle this weekend in Novi.
Barbara Eden played the title character in the 1960’s television show “I Dream of Jeannie,” a campy version of Aladdin that became an iconic staple of cable and the internet. She says she was looking forward to greeting fans at this weekend’s Motor City Comic Con.
Eden tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that it has taken her some time to understand Jeannie’s appeal.
