Former GOP Staffer Brandon Brice Talks Politics Ahead of Midterms
Brice is a former Republican staffer, operative, and commentator.
We are just over a week away from midterm elections.
The biggest decision — arguably — on the ballot this year is who will be the next governor of Michigan.
Democrat Gretchen Whitmer has led by a wide margin in polls over the past several months against her opponent, Republican Bill Schuette. But Schuette just last week on Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson declared he was confident he will win on November 6th in a squeaker.
Each week on Detroit Today, Henderson welcomes a guest who sits on a different side of the political spectrum from himself to talk politics in an in-depth and civil manner. This week, he speaks with Brandon Brice, an independent political consultant.
Brice is a former Republican staffer, operative, and commentator. He served as a staffer for former U.S. House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert and as director of education affairs under New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
Henderson and Brice talk about Republican nominee for governor Bill Schuette’s embrace of President Trump in this election, the U.S. Senate race between Democratic incumbent Sen. Debbie Stabenow and GOP nominee John James, as well as the larger questions surrounding the midterm elections.
