The most exciting new dining options in metro Detroit are not always brick and mortar restaurants.
With a wide range of pop-up concepts opening inside bars and breweries—it’s a little more DIY than that.
CultureShift’s Ryan Patrick Hooper speaks with Detroit News reporter Melody Baetens about the wide range of pop-ups happening around the city this month.
Baetens advises anyone coming to a pop-up for the first time to bring your cash, patience and “be ready to hang out.”
“It’s not a traditional restaurant service,” says Baetens. “(Pop-ups are) definitely next level foodie culture. It’s next level Detroit dining.”
