WDET’s Essential Music Host Ann Delisi sits down with Detroit Today Host Stephen Henderson ahead of her chat with NPR’s Political Correspondent Don Gonyea on Sept. 29 at the Detroit Historical Society.
Ann says she’ll talk with Don about his love of Bob Dylan, navigating with the waters of working with multiple press secretaries throughout various White House administrations and his roots here at WDET.

“He is one of the nicest people I have ever known,” says Delisi. “We are doing this series of Essential Conversations and this will be the first kind of ‘newsy’ person i will be talking to.”
She also adds that Gonyea comes back to Detroit often, so she suspects that recent news and developments in the city will also come up during their conversation.
