Lisa McClain Wins Election in Michigan’s 10th Congressional District
The Republican candidate will spend the next two years representing the region in the US House of Representatives.
Lisa McClain (R) has won the race to represent Michigan’s 10th Congressional District on Capitol Hill. She received about 66% of the votes on her way to defeating Democratic candidate Kimberly Bizon.
McClain will replace fellow Republican Paul Mitchell, who did not run for re-election. She says she looks forward to collaborating with Michigan representatives on both sides of the aisle.

“I think this is a great opportunity in history and in our nation,” says McClain, “to really bring people together and focus on what’s right with our country.”
While she received an endorsement from President Donald Trump during her campaign, McClain believes she will be able to work with either of the major party presidential candidates.
“No matter who’s in office,” says McClain, “we still need to come together as a nation to get things done for our district, for our state and for our country. That’s our job.”
McClain says jobs and the economy will be her number one focus in Washington DC.
