Beyoncé brings ‘Renaissance’ world tour to Detroit’s Ford Field this summer
The pop icon will return to Detroit for the first time in five years.
Music megastar Beyoncé announced Wednesday that the highly-anticipated ‘Renaissance World Tour’ will be kicking off this spring, with 41 dates across the U.S. and Europe.
She’ll be stopping in Detroit to perform at Ford Field on Wednesday, July 26. The last time she played this venue was in 2018, when she paid tribute to the then-ill Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
The announcement comes six months after the July 2022 release of Renaissance, her first solo studio release since 2016’s Lemonade. The album took the world by storm, bringing national attention to House music, which has roots in Detroit. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it her seventh Number One as a solo act, not including the two she earned as a member of Destiny’s Child.

The Detroit show falls under Registration Group C, which opens Thursday, Feb. 16 at 11:59 p.m. In addition to the Verified Fan Onsale presale, there will also be presales for BeyHive Members and Citi cardholders.
