On Being’s Krista Tippett Joins Detroit Today To Talk About The Election

On Being host Krista Tippett brings elections special with Brooks and Dionne

On Being

Krista Tippett hosts public radio’s On Being, a program about what it means to be human and how we want to live.

She recently sat down in front of a live audience with David Brooks of the New York Times, and E.J. Dionne of the Washington Post, to talk about next week’s election.

You’ll be able to hear that conversation here on WDET at 3 p.m. this Sunday, November 6.

“It was a very refreshing conversation,” Tippett tells WDET host Stephen Henderson. “[Brooks and Dionne] are both partisan in their own way, but they very openly carry their questions alongside their answers.”

That, says Tippett, makes the two journalists much like many voting Americans.
