Ford Field Executive Chef Joe Nader Hosts 70,000 For Thanksgiving [PHOTOS]
Nader gives WDET an inside look into his kitchen and preparations to feed tens of thousands on Thanksgiving Day.
Many of us know the hard work and stress involved in hosting our families and loved ones for Thanksgiving. Cooking dish after dish of food. Getting a house ready for guests.
Joe Nader takes that preparation to a whole different level. He hosts almost 70,000 people every single Thanksgiving. That’s because Joe is the executive chef of Ford Field, where the Detroit Lions play each year in a unique tradition that goes back decades.
Joe Nader recently gave Detroit Today producer Jake Neher a preview of this year’s Thanksgiving food preparations and a tour of his kitchen at Ford Field.
