LIVE: Mackinac Policy Conference 2018
A live stream from the 2018 Mackinac Policy Conference
The Mackinac Policy Conference is underway. Hundreds of lawmakers, community activists, and business leaders are on Mackinac Island this week to discuss key issues affecting Michigan, such as education, roads and transit. The top six Democratic and Republican gubernatorial candidates will hold a joint debate on Thursday night.
Detroit Public Television is providing live coverage of all of the conference sessions online. WDET, a partner of DPTV through the Detroit Journalism Collaborative, is providing that stream for you here.
The gubernatorial debate is available here as well. WDET’s Stephen Henderson will join Nolan Finley of the Detroit News and Christie MacDonald of DPTV to moderate the event. It’s set to begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
WDET’s Mackinac Policy Conference coverage is sponsored by The Henry Ford.
