Here in Michigan, we have two members of our Congressional delegation, one Republican and one Democrat, who continue to push for bipartisanship despite the rancor.
If you haven’t heard, Congress is pretty divided right now. Add an impeachment inquiry on top of the deep divides that have existed now for years on Capitol Hill, and you get an environment that seems unlikely to produce anything that resembles a functioning legislative body. Yet, two lawmakers from Michigan are determined to maintain a working bipartisan relationship.
