The Symphony’s live performance streams into classrooms Thursday.
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra‘s first classroom edition of its free webcast series reached almost 50,000 students nationwide last fall. The second such performance is scheduled for Thursday morning live from Orchestra Hall. Assistant Conductor Michelle Merrill tells WDET’s Pat Batcheller the theme for the May 14 webcast is “Musical Tales”. The webcast will be streamed to classrooms at 10:30 and 11:45 Thursday morning.
