Rob Reinhart is host of WDET's "Essential Music." The rest of Rob's week is spent producing the syndicated program "Acoustic Cafe," heard on 125 commercial and noncommercial radio stations, and online at Acafe.com. Since 1995, "Acoustic Cafe" has featured interviews and performances with songwriting greats, from Willie Nelson to Robert Glasper, Norah Jones to Joan Baez, Bob Seger to Ledisi, Emmylou Harris to Courtney Barnett and hundreds more.
Over the last 30 years, Reinhart has also owned a small ad agency, written and produced syndicated comedy for radio, voiced thousands of radio and TV commercials, consulted movie, television and internet media projects, and even been the voice of Radio Bonnaroo. He is also a partner in SongCraft Presents, a video songwriting series, creating new songs with interesting people in cool places!
